My Take on Lakme absolute Mattreal skin natural mousse -
Packaging - It comes in a small cute round packaging which is silver grey in color . It looks really attractive like one of those high end products that will definitely add an extra sum of beauty to your vanity. it really is a pleasure to eyes. But tub packaging makes it a bit difficult to use on the go also a bit unhygienic as you have to drop your finger inside the tub every time you use it but look wise it cant be more pleasing . you will surely love this cute silver ball in your cosmetic bag.
Texture - It has a creamy non greasy and very light texture that glides very easily on your skin leaving it soft and really matte . I am really impressed with the wonderful matte finish it gave to my skin . only a tiny amount is required as it spreads really well all over your face. It controls oil and stickiness on face leaving it bright and matte. Also it does not dry your skin too much it gives that creamy matte effect. It is more a mousse than foundation and it is so light that it does not make your skin look cakey like most of the foundations. Skin feels instantly fresh and glowing and ready to go.
Fragrance - It has a mild citrus fragrance which disappears after a few seconds you apply. I personally like the fragrance it feels and smells really fresh . It can be a bit strong for some people who don't prefer scented creams and foundations .
Coverage - It gives a light to medium coverage. It can hide fine lines and little blemishes but does not give a complete coverage to under eye are or acne spots. It perfectly evens out your skin tone and instantly give that flawless even skin tone . As it does a medium coverage it does not look heavy on skin. I personally do not have any dark under eyes or acne spots and i have a normal skin tone not oily but if you have then you can use this mousse with a good concealer and top it up with a good compact and you are good to go.
I have used this mousse without a primer on my face with a lakme 9 to 5 compact and it worked really good for me. This is really an amazing product . Perfect for day and evening both as it can never look cakey and heavy on your skin. It can stay up to 7 hours without any touch ups in air conditioned rooms after that you need to touch up a bit to stay as fresh and matte, without ac and in sweaty climate also it can stay up to 3 to 4 hours depending on your skin type.
Shade - I have a wheatish complexion so i picked up shade honey beige and it suits me perfect also a lighter shade could have also suited me as this is so light and does not whiten after you spread it. It has yellow undertones which makes it perfect for Indian skin tones i Personally do not like the products that leave whiteness after you apply them.
For very fair complexion go for ivory fair and rose ivory
For fair to medium you can pick beige honey and golden light
For Medium to dusky Almond Honey And Golden medium can suit you
